Today, in China we are facing a very difficult time, our emotions changing very often during the day. At this moment things change very fast and frequently, I do believe all of us are praying for China and hoping everything will be fine in a very short time. I was staying indoor since novel coronavirus outbreak started in China in late 2019, now I am hoping someone could “take me” out of this situation. Most of my friends were sharing their old pictures and recalling different outdoor activities through Wechat moments. I believe we are all saying loudly in our deep heart - please “Take Me” to those beautiful places once everything back to normal. BACA art store actually has a new series of canvas tote bag which probably can represent this “Take Me” emotion.
t seems like a fashion trend that more and more people started taking a canvas tote bag, and many young people even used canvas bag to fit different outfits. Canvas bags are environmental friendly and suitable for most cases. This “Take Me” bag is designed by a young Swiss artist and designer Remo Caminada, he used screen-print skills while the bag design, and the initial idea is from ambiguity. There are variety explanations for “Take me”, however no matter what the explanations are, it will be a romantic hint and a beautiful encounter.
It is not an issue if you only have little knowledge about art and design nowadays, since there are so many designs surround us, and there is no such universal rules that can define what is “good design”and what is “bad design”. People have their own views towards art and design, if they can find enjoyment in it, maybe it is a "good art and good design". Actually, the designer Remo Caminada just wanted to share this enjoyment with the public through this simple but bold design. “Take Me”, let’s enjoy art and design.
The picture on the bag is all handmade with screen printing, used special inks and overprint skills. As you can see, the bright bold colours make the visual effect of “Take Me” is different from other bags. Yellow as egg yolks, red as fresh tomatoes, and blue as Tianchi Lakes. These beautiful colours are not easily forgotten. In terms of the texture, if you are a 100% cotton lover, this bag is definitely suit for you, the infilled textile makes bags smooth and special.
